Phylicia serves young adults, intending to help them identify areas they want to grow in while also thinking of their wellness from a holistic perspective. Phylicia has worked with young children, adolescents, and parents and currently serves as a therapist on a college campus. She is passionate about serving Black college students and supporting them regarding anxiety, boundaries, stress management, and improving communication in their relationships. She helps her clients identify areas they want to grow in while also thinking of their wellness from a holistic and integrative perspective.

For years she has facilitated programs for Black young women and seen the continued need for social and emotional wellness initiatives on college campuses. Through her journey, she founded Her Wellness, PLLC to support Black girls transition from high school to college to post graduate life.

Her journey has taken her to four college campuses, including Yale University, where she first began working in a college counseling center. Phylicia has supported Black women’s mental wellness in college since 2014 and understands the challenges unique to this population. As a therapist and speaker, she looks for ways to address these needs.

Phylicia helps young adults navigate the uncertainty of life transitions by offering guidance, emotional resilience, and clarity, so that they can confidently step into the next chapter of their lives and create a fulfilling future.
